Daisy Dash Organization FAQs

What does the Daisy Dash benefit?
In 2007, the Daisy Dash raised funds for 5 local charities:

-   David C. Weber Foundation
-   Clarendon Hills DARE
-   Clarendon Hills Little League
-   Clarendon Hills Lions Club
-   Clarendon Hills Infant Welfare

What is the David C. Weber Foundation?
David Weber, a lifelong Clarendon Hills resident, passed away in August 2001 at the age of 33.  He left behind his wife and three children, his parents, six adult brothers and their families, and many close friends.  In 2003, David's friends and family decided to establish a foundation in his name that would benefit others.  We chose to focus on assisting local students studying abroad because that was an important part of David's life when he was growing up.

The Foundation supports the educational goals of local students whom have chosen to study language, foreign or indigenous cultures, abroad or domestically.  The Foundation also seeks to promote learning among driven, open-minded young Americans, with a focus on facilitating those students’ abilities to attend academic and cultural programs in foreign countries.  This support will be given directly to local students chosen by the trustees and/or to establish nonprofit organizations that support such students
